Here at the Chabad Jewish Center, we believe that every person is a world of his own, and we care for each person as we care for the world. Chabad strives to ensure Jewish continuity through increasing Jewish pride, knowledge, and commitment. We work to overcome differences between Jews by creating a caring, non-judgmental environment where all are welcome. We believe that every Jew has the right to experience the beautiful treasures of our Jewish heritage, regardless of religious background or financial status.

The Chabad Jewish Center is only one of over 2500 centers worldwide. We offer a wide variety of educational, religious, and social services (according to the teachings of The Lubavitcher Rebbe), with the goal of making our world a more meaningful place. We are very proud of our accomplishments on Cape Cod. We hold weekly Shabbat and Holiday services, community social events, children’s programs, and ongoing adult educational classes and lectures. Our Hebrew School and children’s summer day camp, Camp Gan Israel help pave the way for a Jewish tomorrow.During the spring and summer months, visitors from near and far join our services in need of a minyan or a place to pray to G-d.

Another of Chabad’s special projects is The Kosher Co-op Group, which strives to make Kosher living a bit easier on Cape Cod. We have a number of social service projects, including Smile on Seniors, which is a volunteer program created to enhance the lives of local seniors. We also regularly visit hospitals and retirement centers to establish connections with the community at large.

The Chabad Jewish center continues to grow with the construction of our beautiful new sanctuary. Plans are also in progress for the building of a Mikvah, or ritual bath. All of these resources will help us grow as an epicenter for Jewish life on Cape Cod, and beyond.

Whether it is an enlightening Jewish educational class, a personal visit with an elderly person, an inspiring Shabbat meal, or a public Menorah lighting ceremony at Cape Cod Mall, at Chabad, we reach out to every Jew with love and with warmth that comes from a life dedicated to Torah values.

The spirit of community is alive and well at Chabad of Cape Cod. We have a growing congregation of Jewish families from all over the Cape. Come experience our home, and make it yours.

The Chessed Charitable Fund

Chabad Jewish Center has established an emergency fund that assists members of the community who need help with a month of rent, a car payment, utility bills and food or clothing for their family. By donating your car to Chabad Jewish Center, you will ensure that those in need will not have to go without.

Meals for the Elderly and Infirm

Your car donation will help us expand our kitchen facility so we can provide a Kosher meals on wheels service for the homebound and on-site meals for those who can commute, including fresh, homemade chicken soup every Friday afternoon.

Summer Camp Scholarships

Summer is a wonderful time for children to enjoy warm weather, fresh air and fun-filled days of camp. Unfortunately, not all parents have room for camp tuition in their budgets. However, Chabad Jewish Center’s summer camp, Camp Gan Israel, provides scholarships for children who would otherwise be unable to attend. With your car donation, we can offer children of all denominations six weeks of fun and excitement and their parents a well-deserved break.

Smile On Seniors: Hospital and Nursing Home Visitations

By donating your car to Chabad Jewish Center, you’ll assist us in our ongoing visitation program to local hospitals and retirement homes, where we bring cheer and moral support to those who need it most.

FriendShip Circle

The Friendship Circle’s unique approach brings together teenage volunteers and children with special needs for hours of fun and friendship. These shared experiences empower children with special needs while enriching the lives of everyone involved.

Children with special needs bloom and gain the confidence they need to make the most their abilities and talents. Teenage volunteers learn the value of giving, the curative power of friendship and the importance of integrating children with special needs into our communities.

Parents and siblings receive much-needed needed respite and support from the Friendship Circle community and all those who assist it.
