Any make car is accepted for historical study and fund raising activities. It secures the future of our hobby, honors you and you can be assured you car will have a good home. Of course, Roll-Royce and Bentley cars, literature and parts collections receive special attention. Literature is added to the Research Library, Parts are used to maintain the Museum cars with extras sold to help other owners. Cars are regularly maintained and driven to parades and meets as well as displayed in the Museum. In addition to the tax benefits of a charitable donation, donors of cars are awarded Benefactor status including lifetime membership. In addition, RRF will pick up a donated car at your home. Cars displayed in the educational Museum have plaques attached listing the name of the donor and a short bio. RRF’s Educational Museum is home to the largest collection of Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars open to free public display in the country. It contains many rare & unusual cars – each with a story.

Donating you car will assure it will be a part of this tradition and your gift will be acknowledged both with a car plaque and a permanent Benefactor’s display in the Museum.
Be assured your car is going to a good home. RRF has an active group of experienced and talented enthusiasts known as "Friends of the Foundation" who meet regularly on the 3rd Saturday of every month (you are invited!) plus additional times as needed. They keep all of the cars in driving condition, service them regularly, display them at regional and national Rolls-Royce Owners' Club events, use them in conjunction with other charitable fund raising activities, parades, etc. and help support many other local causes.
The Rolls-Royce Foundation is an independent, non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the heritage of Rolls-Royce and Bentley Motorcars. Our museum includes cars from across the line of Rolls-Royce and Bentley models, and a selection of related materials in changing displays. An extensive library holds books, technical manuals, handbooks, sales literature and periodicals,as well as historic documents that document individual chassis. The library is available to researchers and browsers, but the materials do not circulate. The Foundation is open to the public, free of charge, Monday - Friday from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM EST. Last tour at 3:00 pm. For additional information please contact us at 717-795-9400  or email us at rrfoundation@comcast.net

In 1978, the Foundation was officially sanctioned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a dedicated group of original members began to build the library holdings and acquire noteworthy automobiles for future display. For many years, the library was housed with the Rolls-Royce Owners' Club, which has its headquarters in the adjacent building. Over time, the holdings of the Foundation outgrew the available space and a new facility was constructed to house the museum and library and provide extra garage space for vehicle storage and maintenance.

The Foundation opened its new doors in May 2004, concurrent with the 100 year celebration of the founding of the Rolls-Royce partnership. It consists of 5,000 square feet of display area and a large "behind-the-scene" storage area for additional automobiles. The automobiles in the collection come to the RRF through individual donations. The Foundation continues to acquire motorcars which uniquely represent particular Rolls-Royce and Bentley models. Motorcars on display represent a three-dimensional timeline of the history of the company, from the American built 1929 Springfield Phantom I to the 1985 Silver Spirit. Car enthusiasts who prefer older cars, as well as those who enjoy modern versions, find something appealing in the museum, which offers a unique sampling of the evolution of the design of a singular automobile manufacturer.

The Rolls-Royce Foundation is maintained by volunteer time and funding. The Friends of the Foundation meet regularly to drive the cars and do routine maintenance. Seminars, technical and informational, hands-on and lecture-style, are a part of the educational focus of the Foundation. Visitors are welcome to come and have a personal encounter with some of "the best cars in the world".
